Students who completed their compulsory secondary education (Year 11/Form V) during the scholastic academic year 2025–2026 ONLY are eligible to apply under this scheme.
Students' Summer Work Exposure Scheme 2026
The Students' Maintenance Grants Unit (SMGU) within the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation, in collaboration with the Institute for the Public Services within the People and Standards Division at the Office of the Prime Minister, is inviting students who completed their compulsory secondary education (Year 11/Form V) during the current scholastic year 2025–2026 to apply for the Students’ Summer Work Exposure Scheme 2026.
Who may apply
Only Students who completed their compulsory secondary education (Year 11/Form V) during the scholastic academic year 2025–2026 are eligible to apply under this scheme.
All other students should apply under the IPS Students Scheme (Summer Plus Programme) administered by the Institute for Public Services (IPS).
To proceed with your application kindly confirm (by ticking the boxes below) that you have scanned copies of the following documents to upload.
- Scanned copy of the Identity Card/Residence Permit (back)
- Declaration from the Head of School (Form V/Year 11 students) e-mail from Head accepted
- Scanned copy of the Identity Card/Residence Permit (front)
- All uploads must be of the following file types .pdf,.jpg,.png,.gif,.bmp,.tiff and collectively must be less than 10 MB.
- Any documents submitted after two (2) working days from closing date will not be uploaded or considered under any circumstances.
